Plexr Plus is a very safe, minimally invasive and effective type of treatment that utilizes plasma technology. Plasma is the fourth state of matter, made up of ionized particles which are charged. Plasma is described as “a lightning bolt”. When lightning hits the ground it vaporizes everything and leaves only black carbon.

Plexr Plus uses the ionization of gases in the air to form plasma, creating a small electrical arc, which, when applied near the skin, sublimates the surface of the skin (turning the surface into gas). This plasma beam generates heat and causes sublimation of the outermost part of the epidermis (outer layer of the skin), without damage to the surrounding or deeper structure of the skin. This allows an immediate contraction/tightening and reorganization of the collagen fibres. It also stimulates skin fibroblast cells in the deeper skin dermis, which leads to the formation of new collagen and a renewal of the epidermal tissue.

The duration of treatment is variable depending on the area and the type of operation to be performed which can take anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes, the time necessary for a non-surgical blepharoplasty. Other treatments. such as the removal of seborrheic keratosis, require only a few minutes.
